A collaboration of immense talent, JW2316 Afro Beats was written by @charlielaffer, @odiweonbass & @mikelesirge.

They’ve been session musicians for big names like Quincy Jones, Bonobo, All Saints, to name a few, and last year, they co-wrote original music for Channel 4, as part of their Back To Black campaign.

We are super honoured to have this album in our repertoire!

Ahh, this one is very exciting!

JW2316 Afro Beats is a mixed album that celebrates traditional jazz and funk Afrobeat, and more modern afro beats.

Much like the cover art, the album begins with the very colourful sound of Afrobeat originating in the 1960’s with bold baritone and alto sax melodies, and later moves into more contemporary, laid-back R&B/Afro beat fusion.
