UK Licensing
Licences for the re-recording and synchronisation of our music and recordings must be obtained, prior to any exploitation, from The Mechanical Copyright Protection Society Ltd (MCPS), who are our sole licensors. Broadcast and public performance must be licensed through the Performing Right Society Ltd (PRS).
MCPS Production Music Licensing Rates for 2008
- Television Programmes: individual rates per unit of music use
- Television Programmes: Per Episode Rates - Use as much music as you need, based on various programme lengths
- UK Terrestrial TV Advertising; eg. ITV and C4 & C5
- UK Cable and Satellite Advertising; eg. Sky One and E4
- TV Advertising: National & International TV Advertising
- Radio Advertising: advertising on all types of Radio Stations
- Other Advertising: Cinema, AV, DVD
- Advertising Campaign: discounted licence for a combination of advertising usage eg TV & Radio
- Feature Film: including student films and film trailers
- Non-Broadcast Audio Visual Production: Corporate and education productions
- Online & Mobile: including background to Web Pages and streamed programming
- Computer Games: Console, PC platforms and gaming machines
- Infomercials: extended television promotions for specific products
- Audio Only Productions: productions where no synchronisation takes place eg. A stand at a trade show
- Premium and Sponsored Products: Music used as a incentives to sell other goods/services
